hey optimus! i found a psp doom theme, can you somehow convert it to be a ps3 theme?… man i wish you trusted me enuff to send the damn icons through email, it would make this process a snap… but i guess for security reasons you would hafta not trust me.. what if i was like, hey optimus! im not a hacker!! or like hey optimus, ive been waiting a hella long time to get this theme done so for the love of god make a temporary account on the psn so i can send you these icons in like 2minutes.. eerrr. lol. common man. bend a rule! i promise im just a guy tryn to make a supper crazy theme…
nah man, i played demon souls a little bit but the control and the character movements wer insane, way too stiff. i would hafto put some time into getting used to it and i didn’t. honestly i wish blizzard would make a new champions of norath for the ps3, im not just a fps guy, i LOVE fantasie games.. dantes inferno was the snit! lol. im really thinkin about putting the laggy shooters down and getting dead rising 2 or this dark souls stuff im hearing about.. give me sledge hammers swords and a lil bit of mana N im happy. lol

only a legend among friends realy, but what i learned was the greatest achievements you can aquire in the network are friends, to hell with those uptight bastards that take playing too seriously.. its all about fun, my fondest memorys in the game wasn’t becoming the best, it was the friends and good times shared.. it was kinda like a baseball team ya know! good friends and teamwork! thats really what the network is all about in the end, so even tho the games may be a bit buggy and frustrating, i wouldn’t give it up… even tho i got friends that i can shoot out to the pub with or hang out with, the friends i made on here arent really any less of friends. so im really not pissed off that i didn’t get to be on tv, F*** it lol. as geeky as i sound lol, ill never forget how mutch fun we had.. so there is a bit of N upside to the network as well optimus.. lol

i was “lone player”… too
the reson that i joined online gameing is 1 game & that game is DEMON’S SOULS i just became adiccted to that game i cant stop plying it
i was faster than those fools who used those stupid ‘lagswitches’ lol remember that fad.. every elementary student had one.. lol. well. the game started to change… my reaction time was slowing down, i started to notice that the screen was clipping just a little bit. like a milisecond.. there was a style to the way i used my gun and something happened to the servers that altered that, it became worse over time.. untill i eventually hated ubsoft and put the game away forever.. all these new games are starting off as laggy and as buggy as where rainbow six vegas2 died.. its extremely frustrating to watch these franchises like cod rush there games onto the shelves before there servers are even capable to withstand the people that spend thir hard earned money to enjoy playing online.. and call of duty black ops is STILL not FIXED!? lazy bastards…… lol
i know exactly where optimus is coming from, i was a vicious nightmare in
‘rainbow six vegas2’ not to beat my own drum, but i was the best in the world in that game, i was on the best team in gamebattles.com, i was the best with the ‘tactical 500 shotgun’ and i was #1 on the death match leaderbourds b4 they got hacked.. i destroyed entire clans by myself and made them disband….. my name is SCHWARTZ81… aka shotgunlord, im one of two.. my partner was Thechiefjustice.. i would say hes the best but he would deny it, i was the only person on the planet to ever beat him. i would play until i fell asleep with my eyes open, i would fall backwards in my bed and wake up with the paddle in my hand and sit up and play again, i practiced so mutch that i was so fast and effective at killing people that when i shot someone it didnt even look like my gun lifted, i was able to see bullets flying at me and dodge them… my goal was to win competitions and be on tv, this was my talent…. it was my dream,
Well… you know, I’ve always been an “old school” player (I’m almost 40 years old), which means that I’m a “lone player”… 😛
Translated: when I play, it must be just me and the game 😀
I usually connect the PS3 just to automatically download updates or patches for my games (even if I hate those damn patches: it seems that the new trend is to make “incomplete games” full of bugs that need to be fixed 🙁 …)

@OPTIMUS I haven’t visited this site in a while, not since I got my xbox 360 lol. I’ve been playing that for almost the past 2 months so I haven’t been on here looking for themes or anything. I’m playing the ps3 again now though, getting KZ3 🙂 I bought a new ps3 yesterday, it shut off on me and won’t power back on. I think I got the yellow light.

By the way… I started to work on the theme you asked for: well, unfortunately almost all the images seem to be only 1024×768 (even those released by ATLUS) which means they’re useless because I’d be forced to enlarge them to the right size, but in this case the graphic would be really crap 🙁
BUT I said “almost”… in fact, I found some suitable images: actually they’re few, but quite good.
Ok, as I said, I started to work on your Demon’s Souls theme. Anyway, since I don’t have that game (and I’ve never played it) I don’t really know how it is… and I have to use my imagination to create the icons.
So, I sincerely hope you like the final result…

There’s always someone who complains for this and for that, and there are always idiots that enjoy to leave bad comments, just for hobby and because that’s the only way they know to feel themselves “big” compared to the others. But if you look better, many of those idiots are the same who never made and uploaded a theme, because actually they don’t respect other people’s work!
Look at me and Yogosan: time ago, we had a big mess with a real idiot (that I prefer not to mention) who was literally obsessed with us. He was banned more than one time, but he always found a way to get back here and restart throwing shit on me and Yogosan… and you know what? We’re still here!

Anyway, the amount of icons for a theme is about 71, and the maximum backgrounds allowed is 16: do your math homework… 😀
As for my uploading problems, I don’t really know: it seems the site doesn’t like me anymore… 😉
btw i hope you can find out whats wrong, it really sux that your having problems, im sure youll fix it tho.
well the icons are a good size because when i enlarge the pics they are grainy, i searched ‘DOOM ICONS’ not ‘DOOM PICS’ so they are a good size for icons, i think if you could see the material i have you would be impressed that i have never done a theme b4, for any fan of doom this is definitely going to be a keeper…. i was working on making it one of thee best!! every icon is different… wepons, ammo, map gliffs, usb, brd, music, enemy icons, health packs, bezerker pack. hud faces, skull keys, card keys, burning oil drums, ect… custom doom64 background, doom 1 background, skull mesh background,… all sharp as a knife. honestly i think you will be proud to work on this… lol. its oldschool deliciousness…..

@PS3-THEMES: Hey, guys! There’s nothing to do: I uploaded the first theme and everything’s gone well, BUT while uploading the second theme, the site crashed so I had to exit.
Then, I tried again, but… while uploading, the site crashed again and gave me this message:
“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/ps3theme/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1140”
Is it possible that my theme is too big…? But how can it be? Its file size (about 13MB) is less than the limit allowed…

@OPTIMUS: Something must have gone wrong with those uploads because I can see in the logs that no information was entered into the DB and no file upload was successful. So upload them again and they should be in the next update!

However, you could create a second partition in your HDD and install XP, so that you can safely use Theme Builder…
Anyway, how did you solved the problem? Did you find the MSVCP71.dll file, or what?
