yeah my friends have been hookin me up with games and dl content for a little while. ive been broke for a bit due to depression.. i became a shut in. all my friends came together like a family and gave me the latest content, hell my friend johnny gave me a 32′ flatscreen! my boys would buy me disk based games and send them through the post office so i could play with them on the latest thing.. they all know when it comes to personal info im like fort knocks.. people helped me through a ruff patch i was going through, now im better and im back on my feet, i think i have some people to pay back for ther kindness…. i think what helped me the most was my daughter being born, she cant even eat solid foods yet and she saved my life….. my little angel. lol. but yeah.. add me sucka we can bust some heads in zombies er sumthin!!

honestly.. im the type of dude you can trust with your credit cards, i live by the golden rule.. and i dont lie, ever…. im probably the best person to run into in this sinareo.
well i know it would seem very easy for me to say that you can trust me, people trust me all the time with there psn account info, friends ovcourse, i get download content for free from my friends and they all know im like an iron trap with there info… i look at it like this.. why would i do dumb things with someones account when i would be f****ing myself over in the process… i dont bite the hand that feeds.. my point being, im not a d****… lol. i have respect…….

Yep, I uploaded your DS theme the other day (March 5), but now it all depends on the site’s updating timing: so, considering the latest themes have been added on March 3, I think you’ll be able to download it in a couple of days.
In other – and more simple – words (as Penningstoned420 said): when you’ll see it on the home page, you’ll download it… 😛

@DOOM: Yeah, well, this is the so called “next generation”, you know… the more complex something is, the more problems it will have.
Just to make an example, the other day, I bought Dead Space 2: when I inserted the disc, the PS3 doesn’t recognized it… so, I ejected and reinserted the disc and the PS3 continued to load and load and load, but nothing… I tried again for 2 or 3 times, but still nothing.
So, I thought the disc was faulty and today I went back to the store to change the game: well, I just inserted the disc and the very same thing happened. $hit, my PS3 is perfect, and all the games I have work correctly!
So I tried again and this time 2 BD icons appeared: one for Dead Space 2 and one for Dead Space Extraction…
Then, I realized what’s the problem: since the BD contains two games, the PS3 needs to recognize them separately but at the same time. But the disc’s boot track is always the first, and the data recognition track of both games is located there, of course! Damn!
Aaah, I really miss the good old days… 🙁

As for your material… I finished and uploaded Dead_ng’s theme and I’m ready for yours. Well, since looks like there’s no way out, I suppose the only thing I can do is to trust you (hope to not regret my decision :P) so… be prepared: I have something to do, but when I’ll be back, I’ll send you a message to the link you gave me before 😉

the personal messaging does not appear, i looked everywhere on the site, it doesn’t exist w a ps3 mutch like gravatars cropping squares, must be invisible.. i wish sony had a better network.. theres always a wrench in the gears… ya like i said before, i never did this theme stuff before, i saw you explain to dead_ng that you and yogosan wher skilled in “different AREAS” thats what inspired the idea of you working together.. but just the same, it was just N idea.. nothing to enforce a firing squad over.. yogosan.. lol. i now understand why you cant, i understand guys probably would have done it already if infact you wanted to, obviously you guys have been at it on this site for a while.. sometimes i get ideas and i get excited is all. “i just love to see a plan come together” lol.
this sure is one of your best! great work on the layout of the main row icons. looking forward to a Mortal Kombat Theme done by you.
You know, Doom… after a while that I came in this site, the first friend I’ve knew was Yogosan. After we had the chance to know each other, and after having seen his works, one of the first things I thought was: “wow! If we try to join our skills, we’d be able to do great things!”
But over time, I realized that it would have been not only very difficult, but also “counterproductive” for both of us:
-Difficult because (not living in the same country) we should keep costantly in contact to compare our ideas and make them fit together perfectly in order to plan any work (and our social life – assuming there’s one 😛 – could end down the drain… :D)
-Counterproductive because there would be the concrete risk for me and Yogosan to lose our individuality as theme makers: at the end, it would be “wow, guys, you’ve done a great work!” and not “wow, Yogosan, you did an awesome theme!” or “wow, OPTIMUS, your theme’s fantastic!” or stuff like that…
So, you see… I agree with you that “2 heads are better than one” and it would be really nice to work together, but I sadly have to agree with Yogosan too, because it would also be very hard (if not even impossible)… 🙁
BTW, Doom: have you managed to do something with that personal messaging stuff? You didn’t tell me anything so far…
i found the milkshake analogy pretty funny at the time 🙂
i’m just saying it wouldnt be that easy, there are too many barriers. it would take too much time to get the fundamentals of the theme going, let alone all the meticulous detail. im not trying to sound hostile, it’s just that the process in which i make themes isn’t going to change any time soon!
wow that sounded a little hostile… if you go back and read word for word, i said it was just an idea.. and then i said “what do you think?” your response was as if i demand or requested it… and even after that i complemented you on the work in this theme again… whats your frequency man!? u have a bad day or sumthin?? my bad ‹– :\

guys, seriously, it would be twice as hard having two people working on a theme. are we supposed to call each other every ttime change a colour? or styles are completely different, you can’t just throw them in a blender and expect a milkshake to pop out!
Nicely done… always great detail & quality to your game themes. If I were you, i’d put some of those projects on hold. You should try your hand at making a custom dynamic theme with the recent discoveries made on how to create them. Seems a little tricky, but being as i’ve already seen a couple custom ones done. I’m sure you’d get a grasp on it. Not trying to tell ya what to do with your work. Just figured with your efforts towards ps3 “quality” theme making. It’d be something you would want to experiment with.
also. i was thinking about the message bubble, ya know the thing that pops up when you receive a message,, it seems like every time someone tryes to add something to its background it gets stretched out like stretch armstrong.. it made me think of ‘secret of evermore’ for the snes.. in that game the message bubbles had customizable backgrounds, like picture frames for the message bubbles just around the edges, i think it would be awsome. ofcourse the frame would hafto be on the inside of the box, it would be thin so it fit right and most of the detail would hafto be on the sides.. simple but better than usual is all im saying.. ok! perfect example would be this theme that yogosan did.. he practically did what im talking about.. lol. something that has some design to it and doesn’t look like silly puddy in the middle.
tho i really dont know if it would get too complex or if it is even possible. all i know is its a positive idea that could possibly push this site to even higher levels, everyone from the average downloader up to the administration would gain from it.. i think…. idk. what does everyone think!?
yeah… just imagine the awsomeness for a moment.. lol, i think it would bring some vicious themes to the table! it would be like my idea tho so at the end of every description it would hafta say ‘doom is the awsomeist’ lol j/k.
un like the previous comment of you guys vs’N eatchother, id mutch rather see you guys merge your skills and somehow work together.. ya know since you have different skills in different areas, my idea is “two heads are better than one”. in this way you both could very well produce a better theme then ether one of you could alone! or even if you put together a group of people with different skills instead of just you two.. to make MEGA themes… lol just N idea ‹—

erm… guys i’v got to finish a kz3 theme, a gt5 theme, infamous 2, elder scrolls skyrim. the chances of me doing requests right now are quite small. i have to finish what i’v started first.

Well, you know… as I explained to Droopysp long time ago, I don’t think there’s really someone better than someone else.
Every theme maker is good in different ways, because it all depends on the specific style of everyone of us: I’m good in my own way, as well as Yogosan, F-Rott, Shadowskilz, Adyp and everyone else here.
Also, if a user thinks that someone is better than another, it’s just a subjective factor that comes from personal preferences.
That being said, I never challenged anyone just to see who was the best, and I will not start now for sure: I make themes for passion and because I like to share them with all of you…
So, if you like to have a theme from us, we’d be glad to create one for you (anyway, since I’m already working on your DS theme, and I’ll have to make a theme for Doom, Yogosan could fulfill your request)
to whom it may concern, the black ops map pack just came out yesterday.. ive been playing asention thismorning “the new zombie map” i must say im impressed with the new additions they added.. other than that i havent played the multi player yet.. $15 dolla make me holla! LOL.
When I first saw this, I said, “Oh look, a Dead Space 2 theme…and a well-done one too!”
Then I looked over to see the author and said, “Well no wonder, it’s yogosan!”

Oh yeah! Oooh yeeeaaah! I’ve not bought the game yet (I hope it’s as scary as the first one…) but I’ll do soon: in the meanwhile I’ll enjoy this theme.
Yeah, this theme’s awesome! It really seems to look through the Isaac helmet’s visor! And great icons!
Also… do you remember when sometimes I told you the backgrounds were a little too dark? Well, this time the darkness is really perfect for this kind of theme: it makes you feel the anguish that is supposed to be in this game as well as the prequel, and it makes stand out the refined light effects.
Great work, my friend, and… even if you don’t care about that 😛 I absolutely give you 5 “scary” stars!
the icons would have looked MUCH better if the ps3’s scaling process didnt blur the lines
