Theme by OPTIMUS
Ok, guys: time ago, RDG-CLAN-KILLER asked me to make this theme, so… here it is!
I tried to make it as similar to the original as possible, but I’ve obviously put a bit of my “personal touch”, and that’s the result: hope you’ll like it!
As for the icons, I used the ones I made for my “Bizarre Reflective Metal” theme, because I think they perfectly fit to the site’s logo style.
NOTE: I had to start all over again due to that problem with the background (I’m sorry, guys… my HDTV has gone when I moved to the new house, so I couldn’t test the theme before uploading it :(…): it happened because I created a very high quality image… but this way, the file size was too big, over 3MB (many thanks to Yogosan for having checked!)
So, I made a new background, but this time I had to eliminate some effects, and I’ve been forced to use a black fade in order to keep the file size low (damn jpeg format! :P)…
The background should be visible, now!

-no sounds
Again, to all those who will maybe decide to download this theme: be proud to have it on your PS3s and to show it to your friends, because without this site we all wouldn’t be here…

I finished playing inFamous 2 in “good mode” and “bad mode”, and now I’m playing Transformers.

i finally got dead space 2, killzone 3, (and singularity free). themes are hard to finish these days with so many great games to play 🙁

Just got (and completed twice on hard :b) InFamous 2, and I need to get Assassins Creed Revelations and Saint’s Row The Third, but then no more must buy’s for this year. 🙂

Yep, all that work wasted! 🙁 It happened because I made a very high quality image, but this way the file size was too big (over 3MB) so, the background is not displayed and that’s what screwed me (well, nobody’s perfect, right?)… 😛

Appearently one of the viruses had broken the antivirus and tricked it into thinking that my computer was clean on every scan, anyway, an expensive fix, 10 different priests and a horror movie later it actually started up again, so here I am. 🙂

Well, I already tried with 3 different programs, but all I got is 1.3MB at most, and the image (especially the logo) was already quite grainy…
Damn jpeg format! I still don’t understand why the themes cannot be made using png images… I always work in png format and I get images with an incredible quality and a very small file size (the HD background for this theme is only 660KB!), and I never had such problems by converting them to jpeg.
But this time is different: an image full of 3×3 multicolored dots, inevitably has a big file size… when I started to create the background, I already thought about using a black fade (since the background of the site is made like that) but then, I decided to create an image only made of brilliant multicolored dots, and that’s what literally screwed me… 😛
Fireworks probably has a better compression algorithm: as I said, I already tried to save in jpeg with 3 programs, but the image I get is too grainy.
Oh well, I think I’ll have to start all over again, finding another way to get a decent result with that f*cking jpeg format (or I’ll be forced to use the black fade)…

heuummm… I maked a theme called PS3-THEMES.COM!… You put random wallpaper….

well i looked at it in fireworks, and taking it down to a megabyte didnt seem to cause any loss in quality

@penning, i’m in europe! the name probably is takashi, i just couldnt remeber to be honest. it’s actually just a modern day ‘7 samurai’. its even got a goofy guy that gets slightly made fun of. it’s pretty cool at times, but the guys there fighting are like drones all the time. its hard to appreciate good swordplay when the guys there fighting look like they have downs syndrome

The dots I made are 3×3 pixels: well, my HDTV has gone and I couldn’t test the theme, but I worked on the background as I always did, and a HDTV shouldn’t have problems displaying 3×3 dots…
So, guys, I need your help: what’s wrong?
-Is the image confused?
-Are the dots indistinguishable because too small?
-Or maybe the background is not displayed at all (I mean, only the original PS3 wave is visible)?

Yep I get no background either, HD. First the info bar now this. OPT, whats the deal man? You’re suppose to be “the man” around here, according to the peps. Mr. God of all things PS3 theme related. 2 flawed themes in a row, what gives?? Is someone slipping in their old age, LOL? 1 star!! Give me this million dot background & it might change?
Yog- Ever hear of Miike Snow, recording artist? I’m a fan of both Miike’s. Miike Snow is said to have gotten the extra “i” from Miike Takashi (I believe you spelt it wrong? Maybe it’s different in America like the info bars? We do like to change things over here!? Everything I own says “Takashi” but i have seen it “Takeshi” so IDK what the correct spelling is?). You mentioning him made me think of Miike Snow. I have yet to see 13 assassins, yet have hear it is awesome!!! Things got like a 96% on Rotten tomatoes so it should be great, unlike the $10+ I spent on Green Lantern on IMAX 3D Friday. I really want my money back for that movie!!

the HD background isn’t appearing, progressive browser display is probably to blame.

I am trying to start making my own themes, but I can’t run the 3.0 upgrade on my windows 7, do you have this problem or know what I could do? Could I still make some good themes with the 2.5 version? any tips would help.

I can’t saw the background I xtract the theme and copy the hd picture to my ps3 and set it as background but…
I have a 50″ plasma tv and I think all the little black pixels destroy my tv xD
I use a other theme because I don’t wanz to kill my television ^^
