Hey guys!
Here is a theme I decided to make for the upcoming video game from Capcom (which looks really interesting)…

The theme contains:

– 6 HD/SD backgrounds that I enriched with some little effects.
– Hand made icons reproducing the game’s logo.
– No boring sounds.

Enjoy!

  1. Damn I knew it…

    There’s no way I can use this Theme Builder on my windows seven 64…

  2. @ShadowSkilz & Observer22

    =>ShadowSkilz: LOL! Be patient, my friend… πŸ˜‰
    Oh, I’m so glad to hear that! Let me know your ideas as soon as you can: I’ll be more than happy to help! πŸ˜€

    =>Observer22: Really glad you like it. Thanks a lot, mate! πŸ˜€

  3. I can’t wait to see what’s on your mind ! πŸ˜›

    I’ve been thinking about a new theme and I got 2 or ideas. I might need your help or some advices…

    I’ll keep you in touch.

  4. @ShadowSkilz: LOL! You’re right!
    And I don’t remember even why you couldn’t install it… (maybe because of some incompatibility with your OS?) πŸ˜›
    Anyway, there’s the PS3 Theme Builder 3 patch (4.0Beta) which provides to make the program more stable on Windows XP and to make it working better on Vista and 7.

    And yeah, you’re right again, my friend: I never told you anything about that project… but it would no longer be a surprise if I told you something πŸ˜‰
    Well, let’s just say it’s something you already know, but I wanted to make it in a different way as a tribute to you.
    Only problem is it requires time, especially now that I’m half-paralyzed: you know, I wasn’t making the usual “standard icons”, so… even if I learned to use the other hand quite well, drawing stuff remains difficult for me anyway πŸ™
    But I restarted working hard on it!

    Stay tuned! (PLEEEAAASE) πŸ˜€

  5. Don’t you remember that I used the old PS3 Theme Creator? Because I never could install that theme builder, I got to give it a try.

    Yeah I forgot about that mysterious project :O so what was that about? You never told me !

  6. @ShadowSkilz: Really glad to hear that!
    Well, work is always exhausting, but the important thing is that there is… and I wish you all the best for everything! πŸ˜€

    And thanks a lot, my friend, but don’t worry for me: for millions years I fought against Megatron and his Decepticons, so I’m a tough Autobot after all… LOL! πŸ˜›

    Ok, then I’ll be eagerly waiting for something new from you (but which “new theme builder” are you talking about???)

    Ooh maaan… BLOODY ROAR! That’s awesome!
    Thanks a lot, my friend! πŸ˜€
    And now that you’re back (because you’re back, I hope… right?) I can finally restart and finish that “project for you” that I told you about long ago πŸ˜‰

  7. Work is exhausting and I don’t have much time for myself, but other than that everything is fine.

    Well I’ll probably make a new theme someday, but I need time to figure out how this new theme builder is working and find some ideas.

    Thanks for answering the question I didn’t want to ask. Well it’s killing me to read that, so it’s getting worst hey? But I’m glad to know that you don’t let yourself go and you’re still “fighting”, please hang on man… πŸ™

    Well no, I only tried Shoma’s minigame once for fun, my score wasn’t that good.

    BTW there’s a lil’ something for you:

    http://shadowskilz.deviantart.com/art/Jenny-Burtory-291004721

    One of my childhood fantasy I tried to put on paper, hope you’ll like it! πŸ˜›

  8. @ShadowSkilz: Yep, I remember you told me about that.
    So… How’s your “new life”? Everything ok?

    Oh man, you cannot imagine how happy I am to talk to you again! But it’s sad to know you’re not making themes anymore… Is there any chance you could restart?
    I really miss your themes, my friend! πŸ™

    As for me… well, nothing has changed: cancer is still there, deep in my brain, and the degenerative process is going ahead. So, my “matrix” is shutting down day after day and sometimes I feel very very tired and I’d really like to give up everything!
    But it’s not my style, so I’m still here… πŸ˜‰
    Well, actually something’s changed… I’m half-paralyzed, now, so I had to learn using the left hand in order to draw icons and/or backgrounds and keep making themes.
    I’m an old left-handed Autobot, now… LOOOL! πŸ˜›

    (Rival Schools… Have you finally broke “the record”? πŸ˜€ )

  9. Yes it’s me my old friend don’t worry ^_^

    I know I’m sorry, since I had a new job and moved to live with my girlfriend I gave up making themes.

    I use my spare time for my other hobbies (art and gaming, mostly…)

    I’m sorry I didn’t drop by and say hi. But the other week I played RS and I was like “Damn I should ask Optimus wassup !”…

  10. @ShadowSkilz: OH MY GOD!
    Shadow… Is it really you???

    “A while”?!? Oh man… within few months it’ll be 2 years that I don’t hear you anymore!
    I’m sooo glad you’re here again, my friend! πŸ˜€
    Where have you been???

  11. Hi Optimus, it’s been a while…

    Glad to see you’re still active, how are you doing?

  12. @faxtron

    yea i know exactly what you mean.. ps1 and ps2 are hands down one of the best consoles made .. but i feel like there were plenty of great games this generation as well with awesome stories like god of war 3, the uncharted series, killzone, and lets not forget a classic .. metal gear solid 5 had an amazing story and ending ..
    also games like ultra said (flower, journey, dead space) were new thrilling and exciting adventures.. so there were plenty of good games but i understand what you mean..

    at the same time there were plenty of disappointing titles like resident evil 5, 6, and re raccoon city, finaly fantasy 13 wasnt great either compared to other final fantasys in the series etc.. and of course i have to include COD being one of the worst this generation they milked it way too much and its just a horrible game overall in my opinion..

    so in general i would say this generation was a mix of positives and negatives, but im sure next gen won’t disappoint as much especially sony since they have plenty of great AAA exclusives which is why im hyped up for the PS4 πŸ˜€

  13. Jaydee1003:

    im actually super excited for the ps4!! did you know killzone shadow fall is said to be using only 1.5 gb ram and the ps4 has 8gb ram memory.

    Is great but a game is not only potency or visual effects. A game involves something more like : good story , good gameplay, good AI and many more. For me potency or graphics are not all I need for a game. That is something that actually the game industry are forgot. You know I can play right now a MGS game from PSX or RE 1 and I feel some magic on it and the graphics are not compared to what I have right now and is for that. Those old games have all the elements of a good game need and it has nothing to do with graphics only and power only. you know is needed but not the only that matter for me. Don’t misunderstand me killzone is a good game and have all that I said. Is one of my favorites games in PS3… Actually I’m excited and I’m waiting for it. But this generation and I think will be in the next one too πŸ™ … Are missing somethig special, basic and I think are those elements that are the real exence of the games. I feel this generation is to repetitive and boring compared to other generations. Many similar games, many COD clones. You know too many FTP and the same games arroud are boring me. Those elements I talk about are present only in a few games this days. I feel the game industry are forgetting the most basic this days and I think for that I feel like OPTIMUS said. For real I feel that something is missing in this generation. I feel like I don’t need a PS4 because I need something more from my PS3. I don’t know I feel strange like I need something more that in a time I got it with my PSX or in my PS2. πŸ™

  14. While I do agree with you guys about the excitement factor not being as high for the newer consoles, I gotta say this generation is my favorite. Some truly unique and fun games came out for the PS3 – Flower, Journey, and Unfinished Swan immediately come to mind. A true survival horror in the Dead Space series (play that in the dark with headphones – woohoo). Also HD remakes of my all-time favorite games – Okami, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus (which has the 2nd best 3D). There are so many more. After seeing the PlayStation Meeting 2013 event I’m more excited for PS4 than I was for PS3. I hope we still get to make themes for it πŸ˜€

  15. @everyone , dont get me wrong i love all sonys gaming consoles , but im a sucker for technology , and you guys must admit back then it was easy to get our attention the sony was/ is the coolest thing ever, now its alot harder to break out in the gaming industry, so they do copy alot of games because they know it works ! the ps4 is capable of running everything in realtime so game creation engines like unreal4 and capcoms new creation engine , using millions of polygons in the strands of hair ,and the emotion on the characters in the demo here , skip thru it about an hour if you havent already seen it i watched i live http://www.gametrailers.com/netstorage/psmeeting/index.html these would never have been possible without sony’s effort to better our gaming experience with the ps4

  16. OPTIMUS:

    @JayDee1003 & AUDIODEVIANT
    Thanks a lot, guys!
    @AUDIODEVIANT: LOL! Don’t go crazy
    Well, you know what? Honestly, thinking about PS4, I’m not that excited… actually, I’m not even waiting for it.
    Aside the fact that I think PS3β€²s capabilities have not been fully exploited yet, I feel that something is missing…
    -in 1994, Sony has revolutionized the video gaming world with the unforgettable PS1;
    -in 2000, that great revolution was evolved thanks to PS2;
    -in 2006, PS3 came out and it was supposed to be a new revolution, but on balance it was not. It has only pushed the evolution a little more forward…
    I remember that at the end of the 90β€²s, when Sony announced the PS2, during that short period of transition waiting for the new console, enthusiasm and magic in the air were so strong that they can almost be touched, just as it was in the days of the PS1.
    But jumping from PS2 to PS3, things have been much less involving, and for some aspects I’ve been even disappointed.
    Nowadays, every new console is becoming only a mere demonstration of computational power: there’s no more a real innovation, but only a sterile technological evolution (which is inevitable) and the games are bigger and beautiful, but they always seem copies of themselves.
    As I said, something is missing… the good old days

    Totally agree with you my friend I feel the same πŸ™

  17. @OPTIMUS
    Great theme, and i totally agree with you about the good old days. I still remember when i got the ps2 for christmas, definitely one the greatest days in my life. The gaming industry needs to be in the mindset of creating games the way it used to be, for example Xenogears, not like now where they just ask themselves “Will this sell?”

  19. wow , i like the color matching , icons look sweet to fits so good together, have not herd of the game? will look into it ,ive just been hunting down all the ps4 release’s omg sucker punch is back

  20. @Everyone: Thank you very much, guys! πŸ˜€

    Only thing is that I had to make the icons bigger than usual, otherwise the symbols inside them (especially in the cubes) would have been hardly visible…
