Theme by Chris Ezell
New in this version are 15 HD and matching SD wallpapers. I will describe them as follows:
1. Is the best doom 2 wallpaper I could find online. I simply put my red lines across the top and my fiance Michael added the star in the background.
2. Is a standard D00M 1 logo wallpaper also found online.
3. Another D00M 1 wallpaper showing the end game screen. I made this one myself in 2009.
4. This is one of the best “skin texture” wallpapers I could find online.
5. A D00M 64 wallpaper I made out of elements I pulled from the internet.
6. A D00M 3 BFG wallpaper I made also from elements I pulled from online.
7. The best D00M “4” (older logo) wallpaper out there slightly blown up in size since it wasnt 16:9. I tried to make one from the new D00M mini trailer but it didnt work out.
8. Practically the only thing I could do for Final Doom.
9. And the same for Master Levels. Literally the only widescreen wallpaper I could find.
10. A nice little UAC wallpaper for D00M 3 that I resized a bit pulled from the internet.
11. My favorite oldie D00M wallpaper from the internet. Not the best quality bc it was 800×600 but I did my best.
12. Another D00M 3 wallpaper from the internet.
13. Another D00M 64 wallpaper. This is the end game screen in widescreen however I had to apply some filters to it to mask some pixelation. Not 100% happy with it but I always wanted a wallpaper from that.
14. In game screenshot of Brutal Doom with the mods I run.
15. A wallpaper for Resurrection of Evil.
As stated above all of the SD wallpapers are identical to the HD wallpapers just resized. I cannot do anything about the size of the icons tho for me they look fine. And please excuse the preview pic. That is the best I can do with what i have to get a preview image for the theme that reflects what I have done with it instead of using HellcatX’s preview image. And apologies for the incomplete credits from the previous upload.

That is the latest and most definitely the last version. credits have been fixed for the last time. there are now 24 wallpapers.
instructions on installation again:
just unzip the rar into a usb stick and go from there
ya know i find i cant stop adding wallpapers to this damn thing. gonna work on a new version that unfortunately still cant be uploaded here bc its too big. im deleting one or two of the original wallpapers that i never was completely happy with. so in short itll be at least 7 more wallpapers with one or two deleted.

ok Doom i sent you a friend request. ive got both Doom Classic Complete and Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition. pretty muhc only ever play them with my fiance so it might be interesting to have another person to play it with.

I would say “constant joy”, but then again my wife could care less about video games and we’re 14 years in. Not a “constant” joy though, lol.

oh they werent pixelated. they just looked like they were missing pieces of themselves or something. it looked really weird and i cant explain it.
well damn. maybe youll get inspired in the future to come back. i guess. how shitty where those icons? i can deal with it not being too sharp, im fine with pixely stuff
but trust me tho i didnt do anything with the icons the new version is MUCH better.
the psp theme i have the icons dont look good on the big screen. trust me. i plugged my psp 2000 up into my hdtv and the icons looked terrible. however if i knew how to pull the icons from the psp them i would.
honestly this is really all im going to do with ps3 themes. if anyone has ideas to tweak this theme then they can go ahead. right atm im too pissed off about losing my pwads i was building for doom.
them and anyone associated with them are friends of mine. friendly, professional, ect..

can you take the icons FROM the psp ver and add them to the a ps3 created theme?

if you ever need any help with just about anything with the theme creation ultra will help you. optimus is offline right now. but both of them are great, there are others that are awsome aswell. but ultumus sets the bar the highest.
well i know im just saying i have absolutely no way of resizing them or anything. and thanks for the input. check out the new one whenever it gets uploaded.

ahh, the issue with the icons is not a personal matter but just an observation, like i said before i like to change the wallpaper and use the icons, not because your wallpapers are not good or anything, just to add a little personalization, i realise that if the area where the main dash row along the top isnt borderlining a solid color or if its a color that could camo blend with them it IS hard to see them, it just seems like they are the size where there can be TOO MUCH going on behind them rendering them… Read more »

For the record, I neither +1’d or -1’d this theme.
however i think this is a good theme, i like it, theres a couple things i would change, but i like it.
id like to see different versions of this.
oh yeah, Frott did the original ps3 doom theme.
credit is due, and i didn’t think frotts theme was lame or anything, i actually still have it. i love the sounds in frotts doom theme lol, i personalize all background wallpapers on my dash, and the icons remind me of pinky. its a good theme. frott is one of the greats here.
