I have downloaded a PS3 theme twice. Once from my PS3 and once from a usb device and all that loads is the icons. If i scroll over the name of the theme the wallpaper is there but once applied nothing. Any suggestions?

Uhm... well, you've not specified what's the theme you're talking about.

Anyway, from what you say, I think it's because maybe the theme you downloaded is "HD only", and you're using an SD TV...

Sorry, it is "Custom PS3" http://www.ps3-themes.com/gami.....more-16470 . Says nothing about HD anywhere and besides i have a HD tv(wasnt trying to sound rude). I have just ended up using the icons and using a different wallpaper to replace the old one, it turned ou really nice too

I said this because very often there are lots of guys who try to use HD only themes on SD TV, and then they wonder why only icons are visible: you know, it's one of the most common problems... Laugh

im having the same problem and i have a hdtv but no HDMI cable . could that be the problem?

Well, in your case... yes, it could be.

The HDMI cable sends the HD signal to the TV... and without it, HD images cannot be displayed.
