Thats what was happening to me i was saving the layer 1 to my desktop and not naming it. I then named the layer 1 that you save to desktop as Layer and it works now i am on my 3rd theme :). So try that it might be your problem.

Well i would just check in your animatedwindow folder check how many layers.jpg there is not dds cos theres more dds it was confusing me at first but i go by how many layer files there is and it works all the time. Maybe upload your folder and posta link here and im sure fraxton or glowball will look and tell you where your going wrong.

Simple mate, Only you have to use to add audio to your video preview the Windows Live Movie Maker. Its so simple only open the video in WLMM and in the up banner you can see a add audio or add picture only click on add audio and browse your MP3 to add to the video the audio you want then save the new video with audio and it's done πŸ™‚

Yes; Its not possible for now maybe in a firmware update by Sony this feature will be added but for now not possible or maybe this feature is for the next PS4 I don't know πŸ˜‰

I think Β for now that this feature never be possible in the ps3, if for this new v4.0 remove memmory consumption and change the memmory use by PS3 to be sure themes don’t use up too much memory. I Β imagine if Β Sony add use of sound on the XMB with those changes Sony I think will have to remove more support to the frames to support the sound and thats not sounds good to me. I prefer more capacity for the frames that to add sound.

@GlowBall (or whoever knows)

I have created 2 and they are looking good! I am liking this very much (thank you GlowBall)

I have one small issue that is bugging me before I upload the Animated Window Themes πŸ™‚

on border.dds I understand that the Black Alpha section is where the selected video is played but.. I would like to do this..

I want to flow some of the border around the window (was Red I think) in to the actual video space.

example:
a tank cover the border.dds and the cannon (or end of it) going in to the video space so, when the video plays, it'll always have part of the border.dds image on the forground of the animated video.

Man, my explanation of what I want to try and achieve sucks! lol, I hope you all understand what I'm trying to say πŸ˜€

Here's a very bad image of what I am on about lol

Image Enlarger

See how the Tree cuts in to the video space.

Do you mean you want put the tree on the border or on the video space so the tree is over the video that plays.

I think i know what you mean now what i would try is copying the part of the tree you want to show over the video. then make a layer over the original background and pasting it in.
