Hey guys. I am still very new at this. I am trying to teach myself how to use the Theme Builder. The problem is, it works just fine when I installl the 2.5 Full install. However, as soon as I install the 3.0 upgrade it gives a message a \"PS3 Theme Manager has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem.\" as soon as I try to open it. The 4.0 Beta install does not fix this issue. I am disappointed because I have been using an outdated theme creator for awhile now and it doesn't support the new icons. The icon manager does not work when 2.5 Full install is working but it does work when the 4.0 beta is installed (but Theme Manager does not run then). Any suggestions?

dont waste your time. get official PS3 Custom Theme Toolbox (http://us.playstation.com/supp...../index.htm) and unpack it in C drive. all you have to do is replace default icons. then open simple.xml with notepad to add theme informations. when you save it just drag and drop simple.xml on p3tcompiler. theme will be created.
Cool! Thank you very much for the tip. I was wondering why I couldn't find an official theme editor. I'll get right on that.
EDIT: Ok I got it and it seems to be working really nice except for one thing. How do you add more than 3 backgrounds? If this doesn't support up to 16 backgrounds then I am going to have to go back to the my outdated creator because that's a big thing with me is having lots of background variety.
RE-EDIT: Ok I figured it out. Not too hard at all once you know where the code is. I also just now learned how to make time/date-specific backgrounds which is pretty cool. I never knew it supported up to 24 backgrounds, either. Great stuff. I really appreciate your tip. It was the perfect suggestion. Exactly what I needed; thank you.
