I know there used to be a rating system for this website, and it worked pretty well but it was also abused by idiots.  But the new most popular system isn't really showing good themes but just themes with catchy names.  So I had a few ideas on how to reintroduce the rating system and keep the buttheads out lol.  Firstly you must be a member of the website.  Next there could be a minimum of 60 comments or 30 post made by that person to enable them the ability to rate themes.  Gametrailers use a similar system to allow the user to post images in threads.  You earm points on that site by viewing videos, commenting, and posting in threads, and those points enable you access to more things. Finally you could allow the users only 2 ratings a day, so they can't go and rate down ( 1 star ) every other theme in the top themes list to make theres go up on the list.  I understand these changes would be hard to integrate but I think they'd inspire people to get more involved in the site and promote the better themes. I agree with you man that it would be nice to get a bit more feedback from more users of this site. I like the more simple way of like/good or dislike/bad. I noticed that you can do this on other peoples comments so I don't think it would be that hard to do. I don't really agree with a registered user with 60/30+ comments/posts made cus some people may not be comfortable with words as you my friend Laugh.

Also I think you have to have email confirmation to register, so maybe just have a "math required" instead.

If there will not be any additions Cry to the site in 2012 then we shall just have to generate more members and gain more comments/feedback through great themes with good descriptions and simply ask users to comment if they like it or not.

Hey glowball, I think I'm finally gonna take a stab at your static video embedded style of themes, wish me luckSmile As for disregarding 60/30+ comment/post idea,  There would still have to be someway of filtering out the jerks from disliking all other themes but theirs.  But i guess the two ratings a day would help with that.  Make the math required a simple integral to keep the little brats off lol XD ( no offense to anyone who can't do integrals )

You don't need luck it's easy fella. Oh and I forgot to say that I'm happy that your not leaving the theming community cus I see that you want more than what exists already. If Sony wanted to hit out at anyone for creating dynamic/animated themes I think I would have a broken nose before anyone else lol Laugh
