Hello,

I have made a new theme and wanted to upload it online, I tried to do so today but it would jsut time out and give me a server error.

The file is 21mb is this a problem - I have no idea how to go about reducing it, if so and it is not much different from some previous themes I have made and uploaded on here.

Any adviceCool?

If you had read the uploading rules you should have seen that the file size limit is 15mb.

When I have the same problem I have to re-edit the images to make them smaller in size without changing their resolution.

When I do dynamic and slideshow themes I have to lower the resolution because the programs convert all images to DDS. DDS seems to give a fixed file size depending on resolution regardless of other compression/file types. DDS DXT1 and DDS DXT5 are very lossy compressions.
