Apparently it switches to a new dynamic background when you go from the homescreen to the upper menu/xmb.

I seriously CANNOT wait for this!!! hopefully they release the tools instead of being greedy and sell the themes first like on the ps3.

I found a video showing more of the theme!!

I hope someone learns to reverse engineer these like PS3 themes, so we can make slideshow/dynamic PS4 themes. I hope they're just like PS3 themes, actually. We can just not skip a beat.Laugh

I'm hoping for the same thing, but with more memory so we can make longer 1080p dynamic themes.
This is great news Laugh

I do not have a PS4 yet, and don't know when I'll break down and drop the $$$ for it. But as long as my PS3 works I don't see a reason to get it. Cool

I don't understand a word that guy is saying in that demo clip of the PS4 but it seems to me that it is showing the XMB menu bar in 2 different locations, one smack dab in the middle of the screen and the other lower down near the bottom of the screen, is that correct?

Cry

It appears I jinxed my self by saying what I did, my PS3 is having problems playing Blu-ray's. At first it just studdered and skipped parts while playing the disk but then after using a disk cleaner it got much worse and then would not play disks at all saying it could not play this disk type?? It was a Blu-Ray I had rented from RedBox and I was the first to rent it ( I go to redbox just after Midnight when new movies come out Tuesday morning)
Even trying to play a Blu-ray that I bought,

Sooo I've been working on it all night taking it apart very carefully ..Damn thing has a bunch of little ^%$&^%&#@# Screws.

I am putting it back together now and taking a break.

Has anyone ever replaced their Blu-Ray player in their PS3 Slim ??

That is exactally what I did after I started having problems and then it went to total shit....damn. Cry

Ohh well I tried to replace the lens/deck and it worked for Hollywood type discs but bit home made burned DVD-DL discs.

I sent it back and got a full rebate from the seller on e-bay.

Now on hold as to what I need to do, either try another deck with lens or a full DVD unit and then replace the board with my old one because Sony has them married. Dumb as it sounds the main mother board is synced or married to the main board for the Blu-ray player.

I did go to Best Buy and buy a Bly-ray player and it plays all my burned discs. But no way to have games or my sexy women based themes,
