I just loaded the sprint theme from the psstore last night. Instead of filling the whole screen, the various images appear in the XMB screen as letterbox format with upper & lower parallel lines visible. I've tried altering various settings from the settings menu, but no cigar. This has happened before when downloading various XMB Themes from this site & from others. Any suggestions? Thanx :-)

It sounds to me like the theme contains ONLY 16:9/HD wallpapers & you have a 4:3 square tv screen.
If there are NO SD 4:3 wallpapers included you will get borders.
In short the theme was probably only in one format.
Check for themes in both H.D. and S.D. resolutions.
