I was just wondering what makes you like ps3 over the 360. I own both and am not a fanboy but i prefer the 360 by a long shot, i mean the 360 gets all the good exclusives, halo, gears of war, dlc for gta4, and many more, the ps3 only has two exclusives that are half way good, motorstorm and resistance. plus the 360 has xbox live, i cant stand the online play for ps3. I just dont get how people can hate the 360.

Have you been living under a rock? What about games like Heavenly Sword, MGS4, Gran Turismo 5, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune & Warhawk...all top games.
I also own both systems but I like the PS3 better, some reasons are the blu-ray player, it don't sound like an airplane, free online, better controller and overall it feels like a better console build-wise.
And dont forget a large number of 360 massive games line up are just polished up ports of crap that appear on WII & PS2, i personally dont want a game on ps3 that can be played on lesser machines, & there was the worldwide problem of 360 crashing their harddrive.

Here's the thing Microcrap has tons of money, so they go to developers and say "will give you X millions and you give us exclusive content." Developers in order to make cool games need lots of money so they say OK.
I have both systems too so I'm not talking out of my rear end. Now lets take GTA IV for example. Wow what a let down, I know people say oh its so cool, but guess what the developers said they were held back by the 360's lack of hd support and still using disc technology from the 90's (DVDs). Yes we could have had a much better GTA with tons of great content but we got a polished GTA 3. You can yell and scream how I'm full of it but look it up the developers were held back by the system.
Now then let's talk about blu-ray, to make a long story short sony basically say who gets the rights to use it. Now sony is in competition with microsoft for money over consoles so I seriously doubt they will let microsoft have the technology. Now the word on the street is a new console with greater abilities is coming out for microsoft but guess what they're still stuck with dvd technology. Sure they could go to hd dvd but its in no comparison with blu ray. Also you just bought a 360 and now word comes that they're going to be releasing a new console, I'd be pissed if I had just a 360.
Now sony screwed up, when they came out with the ps3 they dropped the ball with the PR, had no games, and misinformed alot of people, it was a fubar moment. If sony would have came out with exclusives and not just a couple and actually fought to keep exclusives things would be much different. 360 was riding on the wave of support from the original xbox. They had good press and took steps to make people understand 360.
Lets get down to what really separates 360 from ps3, live. That's all I hear people say is that live is so awesome. Yes microsoft did something right when it made live and sony screwed up by not taking notes in class when microsoft let every one see it's notes. So what you're saying is that live is the main reason 360 is "better" than ps3. Well then hand me my xmb and free online play cause thats not enough to make me believe 360 is better. Oh yeah you have to pay to get online with 360 then pay for extra content, love it.
Now I know I'm probably gonna get flamed up and down, I could really care less, but Halo is such an average game I really scratch my head why people treat it like the second coming of christ. I'm not saying it sucks but its nothing different than alot of shooters out there, but maybe because you can tea bag your kills its the greatest game ever. If you want to promote a game for 360 I can agree with Gears of War. It changed the rules for shooters and had a great story to go with it, one of my favorite games.
